Overview
Fragmented Echoes is an action-adventure multiverse that brings the genres of Sci-Fi, RPG and Fantasy into a single compelling experience. You’re entrusted to bring order in the world of chaos commencing from Earth and making your journey through multiverses towards the divine realm itself. Fragmented Echoes is inspired by the Dark Souls series, Devil May Cry series, and Metal Gear Rising, to weave awe-inspiring game mechanics, modern graphics and a thrilling storyline into a unified experience. From Top-down to Third-person camera angle, take controls into your own hands and master the unforgiving battlegrounds.
A key feature of Fragmented Echoes is its diverse weapon system. Players can choose from 4 different weapons to attach in a quick slot, each with its unique strengths and weaknesses allowing players to swap between them instantly during battle. This allows for a high degree of customization and strategy. as players must choose the right weapon for each situation and adapt their playstyle accordingly
Fragmented Echoes is also an action RPG meaning players will need to level up their character, collect loot and complete quests to progress through the game.
Epic boss fights are a particular highlight, offering challenging and exciting battles that require skill and strategy to emerge victorious
Another standout feature of Fragmented Echoes is using Unity HDRP which provides players with stunning photorealistic graphics that truly bring the game’s cyberpunk world to life. The HDRP also allows for advanced lighting and shading techniques, which help to create a truly impressive gaming experience
Gameplay
Fragmented Echoes is an action, at the core and Sci-Fi-RPG at the heart, a game that is targeted not at any particular audience but generally at the gaming community who enjoy adaptive gameplay mechanics with challenging battles and a heart-touching storyline that takes players to the next level of involvement.
Weapons can be categorized into two types; Melee and Ranged. Usage of a melee weapon consumes stamina whereas ranged weapons will use required ammo. Each weapon has its unique abilities; 2 normal abilities, 1 sub-ability and 1 ultimate ability.
Upon casting any ability, stamina is consumed. Beware of the stamina bar under the weapon complications. Casting stamina-expensive abilities will deplete the stamina rapidly and you might end up in a position where you can’t cast any abilities. Every weapon can be upgraded progressively by killing enemies and unlocking materials and weapons. Each upgrade will collectively upgrade weapon stats as well as unlock its abilities.
A maxed-level weapon will unlock an ultimate ability that can be intense on damage and potentially disrupt a boss’s ultimate ability. While it may not be too hard to stack multiple weapons, it requires skill to master the art of battle with any given weapon.
Each weapon adheres to a particular gameplay style; a melee weapon might be a good choice in close-ranged combats to deal heavy damage to multiple close-ranged enemies, whereas a ranged weapon would make a great companion where enemies are attacking from a distance or a Boss enemy is constantly changing its position rapidly or is somewhere inaccessible for the player.
Camera
Valorous offers players 2 types of camera modes. Top-down and 3rd person camera. Each type of camera can give players different play styles and experiences that bring replay valuable
Top-Down camera mode
This camera angle brings the player a clear view from the top-down that let they know the situation of the environment around them so they can prepare a suitable strategy for any case.
Third-person camera mode
This immersive camera mode brings players closer to the character and gives them a more realistic feel. They will see the move of the enemy and it is easier to decide what to do next. Also, a third-person camera is a good choice if you want to aim target or solve a puzzle or find a tiny item in the environment.
Lock-On mode
Valorous offers a camera lock-on target feature similar to the Souls series. Players can choose to lock the target in any camera mode. When players are in lock-on mode the camera always looks at a target to bring players better vision in battle without losing sight of the target.
Weapons
There will be 10 unique weapons, ranged or melee. All weapons will have 4 upgradeable rankings each; Normal, Rare, Epic and Legendary. Each ranking will enhance stats, visuals and unique skills/abilities associated with each weapon. Weapons can either be crafted from materials that can be discovered throughout the levels or can be picked up from the chests that drop after defeating enemies.
X-30 RapidFire
X-30 is a limited edition prototype automatic rifle manufactured from composites of carbon fibre. An intermetallic compound (B2) is used in the titanium barrel linings for zero-recoil and noise suppression. It’s an ultralight, long-range and high-precision rifle that makes it one of a kind.
The infamous Project X-030 deployed the selected toughest batch of commandos from around the world to test and train their endurance. In a base camp in a subarctic forest, military training was carried out on the enlisted unit and was subjected to the inhuman scale of endurance testing which is the reason for the public outcry when the classified project was exposed to the media years later. Of all the enlisted units, only 10 managed to survive and pass the training; as an honouring medal, they were given these rifles and named X-30s after the project.
[Ability 1] Triple Shot:
Fires 3 scattered and explosive rounds in succession, detonating mid-air, causing damage to blast radius.
[Ability 2] Smoke ‘Em:
Projects a smoke grenade to disengage enemies by depriving them of their sense of vision for a brief span.
[Ability 3] Quantumize:
Every shot fired charges the Kinetic and thermal energies until the threshold point to cast the acute energies into transforming the rifle into its original mega-sized Quantum gun for a one-time devastating charge of explosive shot.
[Right Mouse] Melee Attack:
A close-quarter tactical attack to combat in critical situations.
Labrys (Dual Axe)
Etched with the high-voltage synthetic lightning bolts, Labrys is forged into a piercing fatal weapon. It is a lethal instrument that can be used by its owner to unleash an extremely devastating static field.
For hundreds of thousands of years, humans have been relying on electricity as a driving source of their tech. All the day to day activities and even the most critical tasks are fuelled by the flow of electrons. It was then that the most devastating natural hazards, originating from thunderstorms and lightning, were studied for their mighty ingredients and recipes to invent Labrys.
This duplex weapon has a whopping weight of 16 pounds each. Not only does it demand high endurance and stamina, but a decisive warrior who knows how to use Labrys for maximum damage. An amateur usage would result in inevitable self-harm.
[Ability 1] Deadly Dash:
Hurls the axes in the direction of aim to deal damage and dashes instantly to the end of the hurled distance.
[Ability 2] Shockwave:
Slams the ground with immense strength and added momentum, unleashing the static burst cracking up the ground surface dealing AOE damage to whatever comes in range.
[Ability 3] Wrath of the Lord of Thunder:
Summons the mighty lord of thunder and lightning, to strike a lightning bolt that nearly sublimes targets in one hit, or drains the life out of them.
[Sub-Ability] Static Evasion:
Forming a shield momentarily, taking any hit would trigger a repulsive mechanism thereby countering.
Forbidden Yumi

One of the deadliest weapons of all times, mastered by the Samurais to give them dominance over their opponents during feudal wars. The original concept was so solid, that the blueprint was extracted from the holy ruins and used to construct a high-tech ionising bow.
On the outside, Forbidden Yumi is constructed with lightweight alloys and nanofibres. The actual marvel of science and technology lies on the inside; with its unique ionising mechanism, the ionic cannon embodied into the chassis is charged with the cable pull and release to harvest an energy void that forces an ionised arrow consisting of an energy pulse with high precision. Stress and compression are actuated and accelerated with modern sophisticated pulleys and levers to magnify the slightest touch with great sensitivity, which is why it’s necessary to have a safety trigger. Recurrent stress and compression charge the core to build an immense pull weight for the ionised energy arrows for a one-time triggered deadly shot.
[Ability 1] Volley Shot:
Initiates a sequence of raining arrows from the skies onto a target area, dealing damage to multiple enemy units.
[Ability 2] This is SPARTA!
A deadly manoeuvred melee attack that renders the target stunned for a duration of time.
[Ultimate] Dragon Duo🐉:
Summons and unleashes two dragons in the aimed direction to cause damage in the range of AOE and leave the targets stunned.
[Sub-Ability] Charged Searing Arrow:
A fully charged core propels a searing modular arrow with precision to deal a great amount of damage.
SAYF - The Tormentor (Great Sword)

It was discovered in an Arabian desert, posted as a conqueror’s trophy in the ancient sands. A biohazard discovery team was led to it after sensing an unusual radioactive emission. This mysterious-looking claymore has a very unusual radiance aura and is bound to turn any battle into a victory. The original claymore was redesigned into a razor cutting design to amplify the damage and control.
It was brought in for studying and prototyping, and test results showed how the unique and unidentified compositions of this blade were fascinatingly drawing and channelling energies from Earth’s core and empowering the bearer of this blade with uneven strength and agility when used against the evil; The Tormentor senses the unique signature of the bearer and responds respectively upon its judgement.
[Ability 1] Airborne Torment:
Hurls the enemy target airborne to disable their most retaliation skills and strike them for damage.
[Ability 2] Remote Butchery:
Draws the fiery energies from underneath to slice the targets twice at a given distance.
[Ultimate] Pyro Dragon🐲:
Calls upon the dragon, raised from the volcanic ashes, to blaze and destroy.
[Sub-Ability] Helix of Death:
After a charge, pivots unstoppable rounds of piercing spins to lacerate the enemies mercilessly.
Crimsonic Katana (Sword)

Every clan and nation in existence specializes in its unique defense and attack tactics and weaponry. They take pride in their strengths and abilities. It was in a cavern of one of the most inaccessible and harsh mountain ranges that this weapon was forged. Composed of unique and rare minerals directly extracted solely for the experimental prototyping of one of the deadliest blades ever known to mankind, the Crimsonic Katana.
Without its shielding scabbard, Crimsonic Katana is impossible to not notice. As the name suggests, it emits an exigent striking crimson luminosity. The blade is empowered by the rare minerals that charge up the sword to scorch the target with intense radiance upon contact, hence piercing through the soul. This sword tends to leave a permanent impact on both the holder and target.
[Ability 1] Pentagonal Blossom
A show of deception; Heaves 5 shurikens concurrently, exploding into a beautiful firework of blooming flowers causing great damage to the target in AOE.
[Ability 2] Stab Attack
Draws the blade at the target to deal damage.
[Ultimate] Curse of a thousand slashes:
Transformers the holder into an unstoppable ninja with the power of an ancient dragon that strikes from the skies to deal damage.
[Sub-Ability] Radiance:
Charges radiance to accumulate bursts of energy causing a great amount of damage and dragging enemy targets beyond
Armour Gears:
Black Ninja
Essentially there are 3 Armour Gears categorised into Strength, Stealth and Berserk. Armour Gears will boost the stats such as damage, HP, strength and movement speed. Like Weapons, Armour Gears have 4 rankings; Normal, Rear, Epic and Legendary and each subsequent upgrade results in enhanced base stats and visual upgrades except the Legendary ranking will also unlock one unique active ability.
A decade-long classified R&D and trials are the secrets behind the “Black Ninja”. Scientists in highly classified and fortified labs, somewhere unknown around Mount Osore in Japan, have been studying and testing rare material properties to formulate a unique mesh with a “Tri-layer” design. This design combines the sensory membrane with the electrical nodes followed by a nanotechnology-powered self-healing membrane. At the core, there is the final layer, which is the thickest and impenetrable; designed to withstand even heavy artillery rounds.
That’s just scratching the surface when it comes to the innovative and deadly features this armour gear is equipped with. Advanced AI and plasmatic actuators enable a swift assisted movement with no sound. During the active phase, Black Ninja uses a sensory membrane to capture colours and lights present in the environment with precision such as having a billion micro-camera lenses on the surface;
making the entire armour gear conceal itself in environments of any sort. This is a silent and unseen killer!
Immortal Guardian
Immortal Guardian is forged with Holy metals by Valhalla’s phantom warriors themselves. The temperatures required, the strength and forging techniques are all simply beyond human capabilities.
This armour gear has a unique dynamic shield system (D.S.S) that shifts and manoeuvres the entire surface structure within as short as a picosecond. Upon any external contact, it will absorb all the potential energy present, convert it to kinetic form and channel it; Yielding a repulsive and defying layer followed by an omnidirectional discoid impact wave that can swallow all the damage and potential wreckage. It’s a marvel of science and supernatural combinations that all that is accomplished within one-twelfth of a second is a true marvel of science and supernatural properties.
With such great resistance and repulsive mechanism to safeguard the subject, it’s no surprise that this gear armour is not the best choice when it comes to impulsive movements and agility.
Unholy Dominator
It was originally designed in the divine realm of Heaven where angels gathered under a holy accord and cast the light of heaven into the armour with an infinite loop of internal refractions. It wasn’t long before the prototype armour gear was heisted under the curse of Hell and was modified to match the Unholy desires, hence a glimpse of good can also be seen in the evil that overwhelms this armour gear.
This armour gear is designed and perfected with unrivalled strength and the ability to devour anything that stands in its path. Unholy Dominator is said to be a haunting entity that will draw the nexus of devastating energies onto anything the owner of this gear aims at. Its active ability will momentarily and temporarily overtake the owner and grant unimaginable strength and rage to destroy anything and everything that stands in its path without necessarily having any control. It will consume the owner’s stamina drastically for a surge of immense destruction.

The system is designed to add strategic depth, improve player engagement, and enhance the overall gaming experience.

Map and Levels
Nogias City
Nogias city was an emerging metropolitan city reformed into an independent governing state. It reached the apex of advancements in science and technology; advanced medical sciences and biotech facilities that were years ahead of others.
The plague of wars has shattered all major financial and governing institutions, abolishing law and order and any sort of functioning in the state.
Countless humans lost their lives before many robot legions.
What is now left of the city is chaos and disorder. every road every corner are filled with robot searching for survivors to eliminate them
They try to hide out and survive daily. Toxins and unhealthy radiation levels fill the atmosphere.
Desert of Death
Deteriorated carcases mark this territory with depleting signs of any living. Scorching heat hugs visitors mercilessly and makes it nearly impossible to stand a few minutes under the naked sun.
Global warming, bio-chemical warfare and nuclear tests have all played a vital role in damaging Earth, moreover, the desert, into a permanent state of the dead.
Extreme heat maps are not the only strange aspects of this region, there is abnormal radioactive emission at several inaccessible locations captured by satellite images. Its mysterious nature makes it an interesting location to explore while at the same time making it life-threatening.
Deep inside the desert is the last base of mankind. where all leaders of humans meet and plan to strike back against robots. in there, you can find anything needed to upgrade your gears.
Forest of the Living
A walk across the forest is a bone-chilling experience as the hardwoods echo with the crushing of dead dried leaves and bones of dead animals and birds.
Temperatures have dropped into the sub-zero range, frost bites and snow are the generous souvenirs of this area. The forest is completely deprived of any water streams and greenery, at certain instances, local bodies have reported the incidents of wildfire spreading across the woods pushing the living further away into the outskirts of the region.
Sector-X
At the beginning area of the game. The player will start their journey here. placed deep inside the Forest of the Living. Nestled amidst rugged terrain, lies the clandestine facility known only as “Sector X.”
Sector X exists as an eerie testament to Dominion Corp’s insatiable thirst for dominance, fueled by unethical ambitions and a disregard for human life. It serves as the epicentre for their twisted experiments, pushing the boundaries of morality and rationality. Here, their sinister research focuses on harnessing chemical concoctions and dabbling in the creation of inhuman entities, all in pursuit of the ultimate prize: the development of an unstoppable army of super soldiers.
But one fateful day, the balance of power shifted. An unforeseen catastrophe occurred, breaching the containment protocols that were meant to confine the abominations within the confines of Sector X. The very subjects of Dominion Corp’s vile experimentation, infused with unimaginable power and driven by a primal instinct to survive, broke free from their confines.
Panic ensued as the lab’s employees, once captors turned prey, found themselves facing the relentless onslaught of their own monstrous creations. Chaos reigned supreme as the facility descended into an abyss of bloodshed and terror, a grim testament to the grave consequences of playing god.
